Richard is CEO/Regional Developer of Murphy Business & Financial Corporation – SoCal, Rich’s experience in business transfers, spanning more than 25 years, includes franchising and licensing of international markets, business brokerage in a wide spectrum of mid-market segments, and he was Sr. Vice President for Mergers & Acquisitions with one of the country’s largest M&A shops.

Prior establishing his current practice, Rich was a Partner in a premier consulting group that pioneered operations and marketing best practices while working with the some of the world’s foremost consumer goods industry retailers and suppliers. In his consulting practice, Rich led a variety of engagements in disciplines that included strategy development, organization design, process improvement, strategic partnering, performance management, training design and delivery, and project management.

Previously, he was a senior executive in marketing, operations and international trade development with two of the largest and most successful global retailers – Southland Corporation and Atlantic Richfield Corporation (ARCO).
